6:00pm: Meeting begins, including:
- Honoring Volunteer of the Year, Staff Person of the Year, community award recipients and departing board members
- Electing new board members and other board business
- Fireside chat with JCA CEO Susan Cohen, JCA Board Chair Sarah Allenby, and Jewish Community Fund of Maine Board Chair Rachael Alfond on the distinct and complimentary ways they are ensuring a thriving Maine Jewish community.
Pre-registration is required by Monday, September 21 for security purposes, and to ensure we have enough dinner for everyone!
We are pleased to offer complimentary babysitting during the Annual Meeting for children ages 2 and older, so that more families can join us! Parents/guardians must remain on-site, and advance registration for babysitting is required by Monday, September 21.

As a formal board meeting and a community-wide gathering, this event provides a unique opportunity to gain insight into the JCA's priorities and ongoing efforts to strengthen Jewish life in Maine.
What is the Annual Meeting?
Jewish Community Alliance of Southern Maine's Annual Meeting provides a comprehensive update on the past year's impact and the organization's strategic direction. We'll also take a closer look at the distinct and complementary roles of the Jewish Community Alliance of Southern Maine and the Jewish Community Fund of Maine, and how we each contribute to a thriving Jewish Maine.
Who should attend?
Community members, donors, partners, and anyone interested in the Jewish Community Alliance of Southern Maine's work, leadership, and future priorities are invited to attend.
What can I expect at the meeting?
We'll reflect on all we've accomplished together over the past year, celebrate the people who make this work possible, and look ahead to an exciting new chapter for our community.
Most of all, this is a chance to gather in community, celebrate where we've been, and imagine where we're going next.
