WELCOME TO 5784

Hungry for Challah? Wondering where you will be celebrating Chanukah or just looking for supplies? Considering joining a Birthright Trip to Israel over the winter break? Just curious about Judaism and its multiplicity of cultures? If you are looking to get involved in any way with Southern Maine Hillel and join with your campus community in Jewish programs (Social, Cultural, Educational, Religious. Tikkun Olam (Social Justice), LGBTQ+, Israel, etc..), please click here to tell us something about yourself and your interestand here if you have any specific program suggestions.

Southern Maine Hillel serves the campuses of USM, UNE, SMCC and MECA. At each campus and in joint programming, Hillel creates a safe and enriching environment for students, staff and faculty who are interested in Jewish life. We offer a Jewish perspective in interfaith dialogues, respond to issues of anti-Semitism, and provide vibrant and dynamic links to the broader Jewish community.

Are you interested in going on a Birthright Israel trip?

To register, click here. Students from USM, UNE, SMCC, and MECA are all eligible for the trip listed under USM. If you have questions about eligibility or the registration process, feel free to reach out to the Hillel Director at hillel@mainejewish.org.

Have you recently graduated and would like to stay involved in the Jewish community?
