Craft Ideas, Recipes, Music Videos, Cooking Videos, and more to help your family celebrate together or apart.

Purim is a fun, joyful holiday celebrating the salvation of the Jews of ancient Persia as told in the biblical Book of Esther (the Megillah in Hebrew). In 2022, Purim begins the evening of Wednesday, March 16th and continues through Thursday, March 17th.  We can celebrate Purim by reading or performing the story in the Megillah, wearing costumes,  and eating a variety of yummy hamantaschen (triangular cookies with fruit, chocolate or other fillings). Other traditions include sending gift baskets of food to family and friends (mishloach manot), eating a festive meal, and giving tzedakah (righteous giving to support those in need). Whatever your favorite Purim traditions are and however your celebrations may look this year, we wish your family much joy this Purim.
