GERDA’S SILENCE

In this sensitive and gripping film, filmmaker Britta Wauer explores the power of memory and the costs of its repression, as Auschwitz survivor Gerda Schrage comes to grips with the unfathomable secret she has kept for over sixty years.

Sometimes we think that everything has already been said about the Holocaust. But we are mistaken –Peter Gutting, Kino Zeit

A sensitive, intense film like you’ve never seen -ZITTY

PROSECUTING EVIL: The Extraordinary World of Ben Ferencz

Filmmaker Barry Avrich has created a gripping portrait of this passionate and engaging 98-year-old advocate for peace who – as the youngest (and last surviving) prosecutor at the Nuremberg Trials, won convictions of all 22 Nazis he tried.

“Ferencz… still very much active at age 98, has an exceptionally engaging presence to go along with his unexpectedly compelling life story.” – L.A. Times
