Also known as “flow,” Vinyasa Yoga links movement with breath, while students are led through a continuous series of asana (postures) strung into a sequence. This class is practiced with a mat on the floor and necessitates movement from the floor, to sitting and standing, balancing, and stillness. Props and assistance always available, and all levels welcome.
This 6-week course will meet Wednesday mornings from 9:00–10:00 AM in the Board Room at the JCA. Classes will be held January 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st, and February 7th, 14th and 28th. Participants are welcome to attend any number of classes. Yoga mats and supports will be provided. No prior experience is necessary; all abilities are welcome, ages 18+.
