A traveling exhibit from Yad Vashem – The World Holocaust Remembrance Center

Made possible through the generous support of the Sam L. Cohen Foundation
April 1-28, 2022

The Holocaust was an historical event of orchestrated acts of brutality and murder by the Nazis and their accomplices against the Jewish people. This exhibit is an attempt to reveal the human story behind the historical account of what happened. Through 30 panels of historical photographs of people, artifacts, and artwork, accompanied by text, Spots of Light explores the unique experiences and voices of women, as mothers, wives, friends, caregivers, resistance fighters, and more.

Exhibit is open during regular building hours (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00PM). For group visits, contact dschoenfeld@mainejewish.org or call (207) 772-1959. Free and all are welcome.

Please see the JCA’s COVID policy before visiting.
