Congregation Etz Chaim in Biddeford presents the summer session of Pirkei Avot (ethics of Our Sages) taught by instructor David Strassler. Three one-hour sessions on Zoom: Thursdays, Aug 17, 24, 31; 6:30-8 p.m.
We will discuss the ethical teachings from Rabbinic Jewish tradition. No prior knowledge of Pirkei Avot, nor attendance at Congregation Etz Chaim’s previous Pirkei Avot sessions, are required for the class. Weekly readings will be recommended from Joseph Rosenstein’s Reflections on Pirkei Avot. Open to the public.
