Meeting Between the Pages: Unlocking the Prayerbook

Have you ever sat in services wondering what you are supposed to be feeling? Have you read the words on the page and felt mystified or unmoved? The prayers in the Siddur fit together to form a key, as it were, that when used as intended, opens us to the possibility of personal, communal and, ultimately, global transformation. In this class we will explore what the compilers of the Hebrew prayerbook hoped we would achieve through its use and how to access the prayerbook’s potential.
