Patrisha McLean is the founder of Finding Our Voices, a grassroots nonprofit organization powered by survivors of domestic abuse. Terrified of public speaking during her marriage to singer Don McLean, she has since been a keynote speaker for several local and national organizations, including SHALVA, a domestic abuse counseling service to the metropolitan Chicago Jewish community.

Patrisha has shared that being Jewish played a part in the abuse she was subjected to during her marriage, and that also affected her children. There will be time for questions at the end of their presentation, which can be submitted anonymously, as well as resources for men or women who may be experiencing intimate partner violence to seek support and counseling. This is a Zoom only event.
