David Grossman discusses More Than I Love My Life: A Novel
Weds. October 20th | 12:30 PM EST
A virtual author talk presented by the JCA as a member of the JBC Network, and hosted by the Jewish Book Council
Join internationally best-selling author David Grossman in a conversation about love, trauma, and healing. More Than I Love My Life is the story of three generations of women on an unlikely journey to a Croatian island and a secret that needs to be told. The novel was inspired by the true story of one of Grossman’s longtime confidantes who, in the early 1950s, was held on the notorious Goli Otok (the “Adriatic Alcatraz”). David Grossman is one of Israel’s most acclaimed authors, and two-time winner of the National Jewish Book Award as well as the Booker Prize and Sapir Prize. Moderated by the Jewish Book Council’s own Marilyn Hassid.
