Congregation Etz Chaim in Biddeford kicks off new family education program
Congregation Etz Chaim, a non-denominational synagogue in Biddeford, is excited to announce the start of a new program for families. The monthly Sunday Family Education Program will hold its first session on Sunday, Oct. 23, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the synagogue, located at 34 Bacon St. Intended for children and parents, the program will feature family-friendly activities centered around a different theme (often a holiday) each month.
The inaugural session on Oct. 23 will celebrate Shabbat, the weekly Jewish Sabbath. Activities will include reading stories, making crafts, and singing songs. Snacks will be provided.
The program is free and open to all who wish to participate. Children of all ages and their parents/guardians are welcome. An RSVP is kindly encouraged to ensure enough supplies are on hand.
To RSVP or for more information, please contact program coordinators Anthony and Jessica Allen at email@example.com.
