Congregation Etz Chaim’s High Holiday services will be offered both in-person at the synagogue (34 Bacon St.) and virtually via both Zoom and Facebook. Registration is required for both in-person and online attendance. You can access the registration form via the synagogue’s website, www.etzchaimme.org, or directly through the registration link provided.
Congregation Etz Chaim uses the Eit Ratzon prayerbook. If you will be attending any of the services online and do not have this High Holiday prayerbook (Machzor), you may borrow however many copies you require — as well as any needed tallit and/or kippot — by coming to the prayerbook pick-up on Friday, Sept. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. or Thursday, Sept. 14, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Congregation Etz Chaim. (When registering at the link above, you may request these items, and they will be ready for you at the designated pick-up times.) If you are unable to come to one of the pickups and require home delivery, or if you have any questions regarding the borrowing of items, please email mail@etchchaimme.org or call (207) 284-5771.
Backpacks are not allowed in the synagogue. Security will be provided, and guards will be stationed outside the front door.
Handicapped parking will be available in front of the synagogue. All others may find parking on the street or in the nearby Biddeford Police station lot (39 Alfred St.) For more information on parking, please visit www.biddefordmaine.org/2844/Visitor-Parking
Please direct any questions about services to mail@etzchaimme.org.
