We are so excited to announce that Center Day Family Camp Registration is now open! We’ll be offering three sessions per day, beginning Monday, June 22nd. Your family (up to 10 people) can have your own private six-hour experience that will allow you to explore all that the property has to offer. Our staff will lead you in games and activities or set up materials and step back while you play! You’ll begin at the upper ball field, hang out at center camp, and end your time with three hours at the waterfront!

Activities may include:

Upper Ball Field: 1.5 Hours

  • Soccer, gaga, football, baseball, kickball, wiffleball, frisbee, relay races, nature walks, arts & crafts (bring your own art supplies – we have gimp for weaving!)

Center Camp: 1.5 Hours

  • Corn hole, Kan-Jam, 4-square, water wars, tennis, basketball, scavenger hunt, bracelet making

Waterfront: 3 Hours

  • Swimming, volleyball, campfire smores, fishing (bring your own equipment)

And if there are specific programs your family is interested in – please let us know! We’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Dates & Times: Monday-Friday June 22nd-August 21st*

Session A: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Session B: 10:45 AM – 4:45 PM

Session C: 12:30 PM – 6:30 PM

*No Family Camp July 3rd

Payment & Rates:

Once you register your family/pod we will contact you via phone to confirm the selected dates and times of your Family Camp experience and go over details. We have 2 different pricing tiers:

$40 per person – Suggested Price. This amount is how much it will cost us to effectively operate Center Day Family Camp this summer.

$30 per person – Discounted Price.

Please choose the payment tier that works best for your family!

We want this program to be as accessible as possible and have created a pricing structure with as much flexibility as possible. However, because we are not able to offer our regular Camp program this year, philanthropic support will be more important than ever. If you are able, please consider supporting CDC with an additional donation this year.

Family Definition:

10 or fewer people, whether or not related. We will require that the members of your group have been following the state guidelines and regulations, including the mandatory 14-day quarantine if coming from out of state (except NH and VT). We recommend that you come with a group that has been established as a “quarantine bubble.”

Health & Safety:

Center Day Camp is committed to making your family’s experience as healthy and safe as possible. Your family will be required to complete a Covid-19 screening survey the day you arrive at camp and will only be able to participate if all members of your group are healthy and fever-free on the day. All activities will be taking place within your own family group, and we will ensure that any spaces or materials you interact with will be single-use or cleaned and sanitized completely.

Each family will be assigned a personal restroom that only you will have access to all day. Restrooms will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected at the end of each session. Your family will also be assigned your own personal picnic tables for lunch as well as a place to store any personal belongings.

Your camp counselor will be involved only as much as you’re comfortable. If you’d like staff to lead activities, we’re happy to do so, but if you’d rather they have limited participation and simply guide you through the day and help with any questions – that’s great too!

While at our waterfront our certified lifeguard will help monitor your family’s safety and fun. Please note that our bathhouse will not be open this summer, so showers will not be available.

Camper Health History Forms

As an American Camp Association accredited summer program, we’re still required to collect all camper health history forms. Please fill it out to the best your ability. You have the option of bringing a hardcopy to camp the day you arrive, or you can send them via email to cdc@mainejewish.org. If the children in your group attended CDC last summer, we will have their forms on file already.

Weather Cancellation:

Center Day Family Camp is weather dependent, and your family will be rescheduled if we need to postpone due to inclement weather. You will be contacted the night before if your reservation needs to be changed.

What to bring:

Snacks, drinks and food (no shellfish or pork, please)
Sunscreen
Towels
Bathing suits
Bug-spray

We’re happy to go over all these details and more when we give you a call after you register! We’re so excited that Center Day Camp will continue the traditions that have made it so special – even in this nontraditional year!

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, and we look forward to seeing you at Center Day Camp!
