Join Rachael Clare for this 5 session self-massage through ball rolling course. This class will meet Mondays from 1:00PM–1:45PM in the Moser Family Library at the JCA. Class will meet October 16th, 23rd, 30th, and November 20th and 27th. There will be no classes November 6th and 13th. Feel free to come to any number of classes. Yoga mats and therapy balls will be provided. No prior experience is necessary; all abilities are welcome, ages 18+. Class punch cards will be available at the front desk. About self-massage through ball rolling: this non-invasive, self-controlled practice is a great way for anyone to alleviate tension, increase mobility, and promote wellbeing through the application of pressure along various muscles and fascia (connective tissue) that can become tight when stressed or as a result of habitual motion/posture/sitting. Ball rolling is accessible – students may use a yoga mat on the floor or any number of props for support, including a wall – and less costly than the price of a professional massage.
